Spectacular Colour and the Vegetable Monster…

Tree in East Sussex garden landscapeSheffield Park, the renowned landscape garden and parkland in East Sussex is at its peak at this time of year and when we visited on a crisp sun filled day, the trees were just about to turn to  produce  the amazing autumnal show that the National Trust property is famous for. We particularly loved the many varieties of Acers, of which there are 200 across many species in the garden. The most extraordinary sight was that of the giant redwood, which became known as the vegetable monster – out of this world! The garden is home to many rare trees and shrubs and is a great place to find inspiration if you’re looking for that special tree for your own outside space.
