Job Opportunity – Experienced Landscaper

From Mid April 2025

Simon Scott Landscaping Ltd is a BALI accredited landscaping company based in Lewes, East Sussex. We work in East and West Sussex and build professionally designed gardens. We are a small friendly team, we work on lovely projects with great designers and are looking for committed and enthusiastic landscapers to work with us as the company develops.

We are looking for an experienced landscaper to lead a small team to run projects to our very high standards. What we are looking for:

We are looking to work with someone who:

• Can demonstrate experience in hard and soft landscaping
• Is enthusiastic and takes pride in their work with high attention to detail and finish
• Is able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills.

Experience:     

• This is a hands-on position, and applicants will need to demonstrate skills and good competency in a wide range of hard landscaping and planting bed preparation.
• Candidates will also need to have experience of operating plant machinery (up to 3T), be able to survey sites with a laser to able to work directly and with precision from scaled design plans.
• All applicants must have a high level of fitness, be polite and presentable (this is a client facing position).
• It is preferable that the candidate has a full and clean driving license

Further information:

• Working hours: 8am – 4.30pm
• Salary: Starting at £170/day (circa £36,000/annum)
• Start date: Mid-April 2025 (with some flexibility)
