Brick Work and Walls

We are both absolutely delighted with the garden you, Ben and Richard have created. I don’t think it is an exaggeration to say that your work will transform how we use our garden and massively increase the pleasure we get from spending time in it.

I have been employing contractors for almost 50 years to carry out projects in my house and garden, and can say that Simon Scott Landscaping would be in the front rank of all of those companies. Simon's attention to detail in the planning and design process was outstanding, and that underpinned the smooth way in which the project was carried out. Simon and Richard worked hard in every kind of weather. When they came up against a problem, they never complained but always found a way to overcome it. They kept us fully informed all the time about what decisions would be needed and when, and they were a pleasure to host in our garden. The result is a new garden that we are delighted with. We keep on asking ourselves now why we took so long to decide to do this project, given the lovely transformation that he has created.

I am absolutely delighted with the completion of the new garden. Our site was a tricky one with a large amount of concrete found at the top of the slope, down the slope and around the large area of the swimming pool. Simon and the team put a huge amount of work into turning the design into reality with great attention to detail. Simon, Sophie and their team completely transformed our back garden into a multi-levelled oasis. Simon was recommended by a garden designer who had drawn up plans for a boardwalk running down to a pond in our garden. Simon’s preparation and communication ahead of the build was very thorough.  Once the work had started both Simon and Richard were hugely professional in terms of how they approached what had to be done and keeping us up to date on progress.  They were also very attentive to any concerns we had on the impact of the build.  I have to say we were so impressed with the care Simon and Richard showed in terms of protecting the rest of the garden when they had to bring in machinery and move piles of waste through the garden.  Something we haven’t always seen with other contractors! We now have a beautiful boardwalk and platform that will last for years and is being used every day.
